Cloud Mounting Kit

The four-point mounting kit that ships with every Valley Acoustics ceiling cloud, sold on its own for replacements, a second hanging position, or a cloud you built yourself.

Thread the eye bolts through the cloud frame and lock them with the nuts and fender washers, then run the quick links up to the ceiling. Screw the eye hooks into ceiling joists, or use the toggle bolts through drywall or plywood where there is no joist. Chain or cable is not included, because drop length is yours to choose.

What's In The Kit

• Eye Bolts: Eight, with hex nuts, for the cloud frame
• Fender Washers: Eight, to spread the load on the frame
• Screw Eye Hooks: Four, for screwing into ceiling joists
• Toggle Bolts: Four, for drywall or plywood where there is no joist
• Quick Links: Four, to join the cloud to the ceiling fixings

Notes

• Fits: Every Valley Acoustics ceiling cloud, and most fabric-wrapped clouds on a wood frame
• Drop: On the eye bolts and quick links alone a cloud sits about 3" off the ceiling. Add chain or hanging wire to hang it lower
• Load: Each of the four points carries about a quarter of the cloud's weight. Screw the eye hooks into ceiling joists, or use the toggle bolts through drywall or plywood where there is no joist. Any chain or wire you add should be rated well above the per-point load
