Design, Fabrication and Installation

We design acoustics, sound isolation, audio systems, low voltage and lighting, then fabricate and install the treatment, stretch fabric systems and millwork from our North Los Angeles shop.

No two projects are the same. Some are ground up builds, some are retrofits of an existing room, and some are temporary setups in a rental. We design each one around the room, what the client needs from it and the budget.

Licensed contractors build the room itself: framing, drywall, electrical and AC. If you already have a builder, we work with them. If you need one, we can help you find the right team. We stay on the project from the first design through the final wiring and speaker calibration.

We have more than 10 years of experience and over 500 projects, from recording studios and post production facilities to restaurants, offices, churches and live sound venues.

Recording Studio Design

Control rooms, live rooms, vocal booths and full facilities. We lay out the room, plan the isolation and wiring, and design the treatment around the speakers and the mix position.

Home Theater Acoustics

Seating and speaker layout, bass traps, and treatment on the walls and ceiling. When the theater has to stay quiet to the rest of the house, we design the isolation too.

Immersive rooms for music and post production. We lay out the ear level and height speakers, plan the wiring for every channel and design the treatment around them. Once the room is built, we calibrate the system.

Treatment starts with a room design and the right panels. You can plan it yourself from our products, or we plan it with you through a Free Room Review or a consultation. Everything is custom made, then shipped or installed by our crew.

Clouds With Lights

Ceiling clouds with recessed lights, an LED uplight, or both. The lights are mounted in our shop, and a licensed electrician wires them on site.

Custom Stretch Fabric Systems

Fabric stretched wall to wall with the treatment integrated behind it, on walls and ceilings. We set the absorption depth surface by surface and can build bass traps in behind it. The fabric can be replaced later without rebuilding.

Installation

Our crew installs panels, bass traps, clouds, gobos and fabric track anywhere in the country. Our licensed electrician wires the clouds with lights.

Audio Systems, Wiring and Low Voltage

Audio system design, custom wall plates, tie lines between rooms, patchbays, rack wiring and speaker installation. We plan the wiring, low voltage and lighting with the room so the runs are in the walls before they close.

Phone Consultation

$125 an hour, 2-hour minimum ($250). By phone or video, anywhere in the country. You get a written treatment plan, and the fee is credited toward your panel order.

On-Site Room Consultation

$279 to $629 in our drive-time zones, quoted anywhere else. We take the room's dimensions, listen at your main position and mark where the panels go. The fee is credited in full on orders of $5,000 or more in panels and installation.

How a Project Runs

1. Consult

A Free Room Review, a phone consultation or a visit to the room.

2. Design

Room layout, isolation, treatment and wiring plans, and a proposal broken down by scope.

3. Build

Your contractor builds the room while we build the treatment in our shop. We consult on site through the build.

4. Install and Tune

We install the treatment, measure the room, calibrate the speakers when it is in the scope, and walk you through the finished room.

Where We Work

We work anywhere in the country. Design and consulting are nationwide, and we travel for site visits, installs and room tuning. In Southern California we cover Los Angeles, Ventura and San Bernardino counties.

San Fernando Valley: Chatsworth, Northridge, Granada Hills, Porter Ranch, Woodland Hills, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, North Hollywood and Van Nuys.

Los Angeles County: Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Downtown Los Angeles, Culver City, Santa Clarita, Lancaster and Palmdale, Long Beach and the South Bay.
