Mid / High Frequency Acoustic Panel

Our Mid / High Frequency panels have a 2" core and absorb from 250 Hz up. At half the thickness of our 4" Broadband panels, they fit where panel depth is limited or where mid/high frequency control is the priority.

Each panel is built with a plywood frame and 2" of 6 PCF rigid mineral wool insulation, rated 0.75 at 250 Hz and 0.97 or better from 500 Hz up. Below 250 Hz it falls off quickly (0.18 at 125 Hz), so for the low mids choose the 4" Broadband panel. Finished in your choice of 50 acoustically transparent colors in Guilford of Maine Anchorage 2335, and fitted with an aluminum Z-bar cleat wall mount kit. Floor legs, with or without locking casters, are also available on this page for free-standing use.

Absorption Coefficients

6 PCF rigid mineral wool, 2" core. Conservative figures: the lowest value in each band from published ASTM C423 data for 6 PCF rigid mineral wool board (ROCKWOOL ROCKBOARD 60 and Owens Corning 705). Values above 1.00 are shown as 1.00.

Built to order. Shipping is calculated at checkout: small orders of 2 x 4' panels ship by UPS Ground, and larger orders and sizes ship by freight. Very large orders get a freight quote, which we'll email you for approval before we start your build. Local pickup and local delivery with installation are also available.
