The aluminum Z-bar cleat kit that ships with every Valley Acoustics wall panel, sold on its own for replacements, a re-hang in a new room, or a panel you built yourself.
A Z-bar is a two-part cleat: one half screws to the back of the panel, the other to the wall, and the panel drops onto it and sits flat and level. The panel lifts off the wall whenever you want it off, which is what makes it the right hardware for a rented room.
What's In The Kit
- Z-Bar Cleats: Four 18" aluminum extrusions, mill finish, pre-drilled
- Panel Screws: Eight, for fixing the cleat to the panel frame
- Drywall Anchors: Eight heavy-duty self-drilling anchors with screws, for cleat holes in drywall
- Construction Screws: Four, for cleat holes that land on a stud
Notes
- Fits: Every Valley Acoustics wall panel, and most fabric-wrapped panels on a wood or plywood frame
- Covers: One panel up to 4' wide, using two cleat pairs
- Wall Fixing: Drywall anchors into drywall, construction screws where you hit a stud. Diaphragm Bass Traps must be screwed into studs
